Priju’s work experience spans around 28 years and encompasses various aspects of the Indian capital markets including around 14 years with leading buy side firms in India. Value & Quality are the 2 important pillars of his investment philosophy. He is a bottom-up stock picker with deep sector knowledge. On the buy side he has worked across formats from mutual funds to hedge funds and from start-ups to PMS/AIF & boutique investment management firms. In his prior roles; he has had 2 stints as Head of Research and 1 prior stint as a Co-Portfolio Manager & as a Portfolio Manager. Some of the firms he has been associated with previously on the buy side are: Tata AMC, Alchemy Capital & Alf Accurate Advisors. His last stint before joining Karma Capital was as Head of Research & Co-Portfolio Manager at Alf Accurate advisors. He started his career with India’s leading stock exchange NSE. He also loves to write & teach and his stints with Business Standard and SFIMAR bear testimony to the same. He enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling & silent contemplation. He is married and has a daughter.
